Appointments

Important

Our website is moving to a new provider.

This website has our essential information while the full website is rebuilt. If you cannot find what you need, call us on 0161 776 0737.

You can request an appointment with us online, by phone or in person.

All appointment requests are triaged in the same way regardless of how you contact us.

To request an appointment online

We use an online triage system called Accurx for all medical and administrative requests.

This helps us understand your needs and make sure you are seen by the right person, at the right time.

Our clinical team will review all requests and decide who needs help first based on who needs help most and we will contact you with the appropriate next step.

This may include:

We ask that all urgent requests are made before 11am.

We aim to review requests on the same working day.

Reviewing your request does not always mean we will contact you on the same day. If your problem is not urgent, it may take longer for us to contact you or arrange an appointment.

If we think you need urgent medical help, we will contact you sooner.

If your symptoms get worse, or you become worried while waiting, do not wait for us to contact you. Call NHS 111, phone the practice, or get urgent medical help if needed.

Request an appointment by calling the surgery or attending in person

If you do not have access to the internet or need help completing our form you can:

Enhanced access

Patients registered at this practice will be able to have evening and weekend appointments following the launch of the Salford Wide Extended Access Pilot in Eccles and Irlam.

The pilot, run by Salford Primary Care Together, means patients will be able to book appointments later in the evening (6:30pm to 8pm) Monday to Friday and on a Saturday and Sunday morning (9:30am to 12:30pm).

These appointments will take place at Eccles Gateway or at Mosslands Medical Practice (this varies of each day of the week).

Salford Primary Care Together is a Community Interest Company created by Salford’s GPs to help local people live healthier, happier and fulfilling lives.

Home Visits

Our GP practice is constantly striving to improve patient care and make the best use of our clinical staff.

Home visits are only available for housebound patients and for those too ill to attend the surgery.

Please be aware that the following are not reasons to be entitled to a home visit:

Where home visits are appropriate and worthwhile

To request a home visit, please phone the surgery before 11am, you will then be triaged by the on call GP that day who will decide whether it is deemed necessary for you to have a home visit.

Pharmacy First

Pharmacy First enables community pharmacists to supply prescription-only medicines, including antibiotics and antivirals where clinically appropriate, to treat seven common health conditions without the need to visit a GP.

You can get treatment for these conditions by walking into the pharmacy or contacting them virtually. GP receptionists, NHS 111 and providers of emergency care will also be able to direct patients to pharmacies, that offer the service, if contacted.

What are the seven common conditions?
